Are you an undergraduate or graduate student in New York State planning to remain in the state to become a grade 7-12 math or science teacher? If so, the NYS Math & Science Teaching Incentive Program may be a great opportunity for you! Select applicants receive an annual award payment for full-time study equal to the annual tuition charged to an undergraduate NYS resident attending a State University of New York (SUNY) campus, or actual tuition charged, whichever is less. In return for these payments, recipients must agree to work as full-time, secondary education math or science teachers in New York State for five years.

This scholarship is open to undergraduate or graduate students in New York State who agree to remain in the state and become a grade 7-12 math or science teacher for five years. Applicants must also meet the below eligibility requirements.
