The NWFA Education & Research Foundation Wood Studies Scholarship annually awards $1,000 to one high school senior who will be enrolling in college to pursue the study of forestry or forestry-related sciences. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and ACT score of 25 or higher, or SAT score of 800 or higher (unless not required by their post-secondary institution). The scholarship was established in an effort to advance and improve forestry practices for generations to come.

The National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) is an international not-for-profit trade association representing all segments of the hardwood flooring industry. As such, NWFA's mission is to unify and strengthen the wood flooring community through technical standards, education, networking, and advocacy.
