Are you a childhood cancer survivor looking to complete an undergraduate degree? If so, consider applying for the Northwestern Mutual Survivor Scholarship! The scholarship is open to childhood cancer survivors under 25 years of age who are or will be pursuing a postsecondary education. Funded by the Northwestern Mutual Foundation, the scholarship aims to allow childhood cancer survivors to “continue their education and pursue their college dreams.” The Northwestern Mutual Foundation’s mission is to improve the lives of children and families through support, volunteering, and working with the community. Each year, twenty-five students are given $5,000 to help expense their upcoming academic year. Scholarships may be renewed for up to one year or until recipients earn their bachelor’s degree, whichever occurs first. If you are a childhood cancer survivor who would like some help financing your college education, we encourage you to apply!
The scholarship is open to students childhood cancer survivors under the age of 25 who are enrolled in full-time undergraduate study at accredited two- or four-year universities or vocational/technical institutions. Applicants must also meet the below eligibility requirements.
