The Northeastern Loggers’ Association (NELA) Scholarships are competitive awards that provide financial assistance to the immediate families of Individual Members, as well as the employees and immediate families of Industrial and Associate Members of NELA. With up to eight awards available each year, ranging from $500 to $1,000, applicants are required to submit a written, audio, or video essay, or captioned photo on a given topic. The program is open to seniors in high school, students in an associate or technical degree program, and students in a bachelor degree program.
