The Norman S. Baldwin Fishery Science Scholarship is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring scientists to pursue their passion for fishery biology and make a difference in the field of Great Lakes science. Applicants must be M.Sc. or Ph.D. students conducting research in fishery biology. To apply, applicants must submit a brief title and extended abstract of their proposed research, highlighting the relevance of their project to fishery science. Two applicants will be chosen to each receive a $3,000 scholarship and a year-long membership to IAGLR, based on whose research is likely to make a significant contribution to the understanding of Great Lakes fishery science. The International Association for Great Lakes Research (IAGLR) is a scientific organization made up of researchers studying the Laurentian Great Lakes, other large lakes of the world, and their watersheds, as well as those with an interest in such research.
