NMU’s Bridge Awards are open to incoming college freshmen at Northern Michigan University (NMU) starting in the upcoming Fall, Winter, or Summer semesters. Applicants must be out-of-state (non-Michigan) residents with a minimum 2.25 GPA, and will be automatically considered for the award upon acceptance to NMU as long as they meet the GPA, enrollment term, and residency criteria requirements. Eligible students may earn between $5,600 and $9,600 a year (for four years) through the scholarship to help “fill the out-of-state tuition gap”, with the amount awarded depending on their GPA.
