Offered by Indiana Commission for Higher Education
The Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship provides 200 high-achieving high school and college students interested in pursuing a career in education. Applicants must rank in the top 20% of high school graduating class or have a top 20% ACT or SAT score and must pursue or intend to pursue a course of study that would enable the student to teach at an eligible Indiana school after college graduation.

The Indiana Commission for Higher Education is a 14-member public body created in 1971 to define the missions of Indiana's colleges and universities, plan and coordinate the state's postsecondary education system, and ensure that Indiana's higher education system is aligned to meet the needs of students and the state.
