Offered by New York Ramblers Soccer Club
Are you a student athlete who identifies as LGBTQI, or a committed ally to this community? If so, the Ramblers Scholarship could be the perfect opportunity to support your undergraduate education in the U.S.! To apply, you’ll need to write five brief essays and secure two letters of recommendation. The selected awardees will receive a one-time scholarship of up to $2,500 each, paid directly to their school to cover tuition fees. The scholarship is awarded publicly each summer, with the application process open annually from January 1 to May 1.
About New York Ramblers Soccer Club
The New York Ramblers is the world's first openly-gay soccer club, whose mission is to provide a comfortable and fun atmosphere for all people to enjoy the competition and camaraderie of soccer, regardless of skill, sexual orientation, gender, race or religion, and break down stereotypes about LGBTQI people in sports.
