Are you a Nebraska resident enrolled in an in-state post-secondary institution to pursue a degree or certificate? If so, the Nebraska Opportunity Grant (NOG) may be a great opportunity for you! Each year, the grant is awarded in varying amounts to Nebraska residents at Nebraskan colleges and universities who have not yet earned a bachelor’s, graduate, or professional degree and have high financial need. To be considered for the scholarship, interested students must submit the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). However, bear in mind that some institutions may require an institutional application as well, so make sure you check with the financial aid office at the school(s) you are interested in attending.
