The Scholarships360 Research Team reviews all scholarships individually and strives to exclude any scholarship where any of the below applies:

  • The scholarship requires a fee to apply
  • The scholarship provider’s privacy policy allows for the misuse of student data
  • The scholarship requires paid membership in an organization (with certain exceptions for reputable trade organizations and others)
  • Student are required to sign up for a site or service to apply*
  • The scholarship seems primarily used for lead generation** or idea harvesting purposes***
  • The scholarship website has many grammatical errors and/or advertisements
  • The scholarship or scholarship providing organization seem untrustworthy
  • There is no evidence the scholarship was previously awarded
  • The scholarship has not been awarded in the past 12 months
  • There is no available contact information

Scholarship Overview

The NDS Kildee Graduate School Scholarship is open to the top 25 All-American contestants in one of the past three National Intercollegiate Dairy Cattle Contests plus the Platinum winners in the past three National Dairy Challenge Contests. Students may apply for the scholarship in their junior or senior year at a four year college. The awards are based on national contest participation, academic standing, leadership ability, student activities, future plans and interest in the dairy industry. Additional requirements include 2 letters of recommendation. Transcripts shall be sent through mail and applications through email.

About National Dairy Shrine

The National Dairy Shrine brings together dairy producers, scientists, students, educators, technical consultants, marketers and others who share a desire to preserve their dairy heritage and keep the dairy industry strong. Founded in 1949 by a small group of visionary dairy leaders, National Dairy Shrine now has nearly 20,000 lifetime members that encompass virtually every facet of the dairy industry.
