Scholarship Overview

Are you an incoming or current university student with a disability? Further, are you interested in pursuing a career in the media, communications, or entertainment field? If so, consider applying for the NBCUniversal Tony Coehlo Media Scholarship! Each year, the scholarship offers eight awards worth $5,625 to applicants to be used for the upcoming school year. The scholarship is named in honor of Tony Coehlo, a former United States Representative from California and the primary author and sponsor of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The scholarship is offered by the American Association of People with Disabilities, “a convener, connector, and catalyst for change, increasing the political and economic power of people with disabilities.”
