Are you pursuing a current or incoming student pursuing a degree in Agriculture, Natural Resources, or Natural Resources Conservation-related field of study at an accredited school of higher education? If so, the NOPHNRCSE Scholarship Program may be a great opportunity for you! Each year, the scholarship awards $1,000 to four (4) college students pursuing an eligible agriculture or natural resources-related field of study. Bear in mind that candidates must be graduating high school students accepted to an accredited college or university, college students with at least one full academic year remaining before completing their undergraduate education, or graduate students.
While the Martha Guerra-Arteaga Scholarship is reserved for a female student majoring in Public Affairs, Communications, or Natural Resources Conservation, the Milton Cortés Colón Scholarship gives consideration to students pursuing a degree in Soil Science, Agriculture, or a Natural Resources Conservation-related field.

The National Organization of Professional Hispanic NRCS Employees (NOPHNRCSE)'s mission is to motivate and mentor members for leadership roles to assist NRCS and partners in delivering natural resources conservation. NOPHNRCSE also assists NRCS in the delivery of program benefits and services to the Hispanic rural/urban community by strengthening NRCS efforts in the recruitment, retention, development, and advancement of Hispanics.
