Are you a college-bound high school student and member of the National Junior Classical League (NJCL) who studies Latin/Greek/ancient studies? If so, the National Junior Classical League Scholarship may be a great opportunity for you! Each year, the scholarships award between $1,500 and $4,000 to the top applicants. The National Junior Classical League Scholarships will be awarded on the following criteria: (1) financial need, (2) JCL service at local, state, and national levels, (3) academic record, and (4) recommendations from teachers, principals, counselors, and other adults. Special consideration will also be given to those applicants who intend to teach Latin, Greek, or the Classical Humanities.

The National Junior Classical League is an organization for middle and high school students in classical courses. NJCL proudly holds the honor of being one of the largest academic youth organizations in the world. There are thousands of members in chapters located in almost every state and in several foreign countries. Established in 1936, the organization seeks to promote the study of Greek, Latin, and ancient cultures to benefit students and teachers alike, and to examine the world and expand our understanding of literature, language, arts, sciences, and humanity.
