Are you a college-bound high school senior who has spent time in foster or kinship care, or you are the birth child of a resource family? If so, the National Foster Parent Association Youth Scholarship may be a great opportunity for you. Each year, the scholarship awards $500 to five students who fit these categories, are between 17 and 21 years of age, and whose parent (or a supportive adult) is a member of the NFPA. To be considered for the scholarship, interested students will need to provide two (2) letters of recommendation and a copy of their high school transcript.

The National Foster Parent Association (NFPA) is a non-profit organization established in 1972 to address the concerns of several independent groups of foster parents and child welfare professionals to provide foster families with opportunities for advocacy, networking, and education.
