Are you a high school junior or senior attending a school in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, New York, or New Jersey? Further, has your life been directly or indirectly affected by substance abuse? If so, the Mountainside Brighter Future College Scholarship may be a great opportunity for you. Each year, the scholarship awards $1,000 to up to ten eligible high school upperclassmen who submit a 500-800-word essay about how addiction has impacted their lives, how their perspective has changed on the “disease of addiction”, and how earning the scholarship would help them in their future studies.
