Attention Michigan residents – the Michigan Competitive Scholarship is up for grabs! This scholarship is perfect for current undergraduate students pursuing their first degree. Recipients will be chosen based on both financial need and merit. To be considered, you must have taken the SAT (Class of 2017 and beyond) prior to entering college and achieved a qualifying score of at least 1200. You must also provide your Social Security number to MI Student Aid by your senior year in high school, possess a high school diploma or its recognized equivalent, and be a Michigan resident since July 1 of the previous calendar year. If you’re a dependent student, your parent must have also been a Michigan resident since July 1 of the previous calendar year. Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity!
The Office of Postsecondary Financial Planning, located within the Michigan Department of Treasury, encourages students to pursue postsecondary education by providing equality of access to student financial resources and information.
