Are you a college junior studying library science or archives management? If so, you might be interested in the Michael T. and Mary L. Cloyd Scholarship! The scholarship is open to college juniors majoring in library science or archives management with a preference given to those specializing in American History. A non-profit organization called the Daughters of the American Revolution offers this scholarship and others to promote the study of American history. The organization is known for its lineage-based membership and history, and is dedicated to “historical preservation, promotion of education, and the encouragement of patriotic endeavor.” The scholarship awards $3,000 each to two eligible recipients to help pay for their tuition costs. If you are a college junior passionate about your archives management degree, we encourage you to apply!
