Are you a student whose life has been impacted by cancer? If so, the Mesothelioma.com Scholarship may be a great opportunity for you! The scholarship is open to full-time college students and graduate students who have had cancer themselves or who have a family member that has had or is currently battling cancer. The scholarship is offered by Mesothelioma.com, a website dedicated to” providing the latest medical information, spreading awareness about the dangers of asbestos, and helping patients and their families connect with treatment and legal resources.” Created in 2015, the scholarship program honors Heather Von St. James, a mesothelioma survivor and advocate. Today, the scholarship program awards $4,000 every year to one recipient to fund their pursuit of higher education. If you or a loved one has battled cancer and you are looking to fund your degree, we encourage you to apply!
This scholarship is open to full-time postsecondary students at two-year and four-year accredited institutions. Applicants must also be in good academic standing and meet the below eligibility requirements.

To apply for this scholarship, students must submit an online application and the below application materials. Applicants may also choose to submit a 4-5 minute video (instead of the essay mentioned below) about how cancer has affected their life and goals, how the adversity shaped them, and what the scholarship would mean to them.
