Are you a graduate psychology student conducting LGBTQ-related research? If so, consider applying for the Malyon Smith Scholarship Research Award! The research award is open to graduate students who study psychology and are researching sexual orientation and gender identity. The Malyon-Smith Scholarship was established to honor past presidents Alan Malyon and Adrienne Smith, who founded the Society for the Psychology of Sexual Orientation and Gender Diversity, while directly supporting young researchers’ work. Each year, multiple scholarship applicants receive up to $2,000 to help fund their proposed research projects. If you are passionate about psychology and LGBTQ+ research, we encourage you to apply!

The Society for the Psychology of Sexual Orientation and Gender Diversity (SPSOGD) is a division of the American Psychological Association (APA). They work to promote public education and provide funds to advance research for psychology and LGBT+ research.
