Offered by Finance Authority of Maine
Are you a Maine resident enrolled at least half-time at a Maine public or private university, college, or technical school that administers federal financial aid? If so, you may be eligible for the Maine State Grant Program! Each year, the program awards up to $2,500 to Maine undergraduate students, with applicants enrolled in more credits being eligible to earn more scholarship money. While the program tends to be limited to Maine residents enrolled in an in-state program, those attending school in another state may qualify if they are enrolled in NEBHE’s Tuition Break Program or the New England Regional Student Program. To be considered for the program, interested students must simply complete their FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). If this sounds like a good opportunity for you, we encourage you to apply! Keep on reading to learn more.
