The Scholarships360 Research Team reviews all scholarships individually and strives to exclude any scholarship where any of the below applies:

  • The scholarship requires a fee to apply
  • The scholarship provider’s privacy policy allows for the misuse of student data
  • The scholarship requires paid membership in an organization (with certain exceptions for reputable trade organizations and others)
  • Student are required to sign up for a site or service to apply*
  • The scholarship seems primarily used for lead generation** or idea harvesting purposes***
  • The scholarship website has many grammatical errors and/or advertisements
  • The scholarship or scholarship providing organization seem untrustworthy
  • There is no evidence the scholarship was previously awarded
  • The scholarship has not been awarded in the past 12 months
  • There is no available contact information

Scholarship Overview

The LMG Foundation Scholarship is a fantastic opportunity for graduating high school/homeschooled seniors who have been accepted into an accredited two (2) year technical school or four (4) year university/college, as well as entering or returning students at an accredited undergraduate institution in the United States. This scholarship is open to applicants from any field of interest or major, and GPAs will be considered on a case-by-case basis. To be eligible, applicants must be United States citizens, legal aliens, or non-citizens with a current lawful presence in the United States and a work permit. Candidates may be asked to provide a current resume or CV, and two (2) letters of recommendation are required. About LMG Foundation

The LMG Foundation Scholarship was set up in honor of Lula Mae Gay, a person with a genuine heart of servitude. She spent many years of her life dedicated to the needs and desires of others. Although she had very little, much was given through her love and service toward others. Thus, the purpose of the LMG Foundation scholarship is to allow her family the means of continuing one aspect of her legacy by providing educational funding to aspiring and/or current college students.
