The Lloyd A. Chacey, PE-Ohio Society of Professional Engineers Memorial Scholarship was established by the Ohio Society of Professional Engineers in 1977 as a lasting tribute to a longtime executive secretary. Lloyd served in this capacity for 27 years until 1970. The scholarship is to be applied to the student’s tuition, fees, and other educational expenses. Applicants must be a son, daughter, brother, sister, niece, nephew, spouse, or grandchild of a current member of the Ohio Society of Professional Engineers or so related to a deceased member who was in good standing at the time of his or her death. Student members are not considered NSPE-OH members for purposes of awarding this scholarship.
About Engineers Foundation of Ohio
The Engineers Foundation of Ohio (EFO) was founded by members of OSPE in 1964. Today, EFO is a thriving nonprofit organization that has programs serving all age groups, from Imagine Engineering Coloring Contest for second graders to MATHCOUNTS for middle schoolers to scholarships for high school and college age. EFO leads Ohio in promoting continuing professional development for PEs with numerous programs across the state.
