Are you a graduating high school senior in the Tri-State area (New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey) who identifies as LGBTQ+? If so, the Young Trailblazers Scholarship offered by Live Out Loud may be a good fit for you! Live Out Loud is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to serving lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ+) youth (ages 13 – 18). Its mission involves partnering with families, schools, and communities to provide LGBTQ+ youth with resources, role models, and opportunities that help them discover their voice and become leaders of change. The scholarship seeks to award three LGBTQ+ students $5,000 to help pay for their future educational expenses at an accredited university or college. Applicants and scholarship winners will also join the Live Out Loud Scholarship network where they will be provided with continued resources and support throughout their time in college.
