The LGBTQIA+ Scholarship aims to support students who identify as Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and/or Questioning, Intersex, or Asexual, who are interested in pursuing a career in the environmental profession. Applicants must be United States citizens or permanent residents enrolled at an accredited college/university, with a declared major in civil, chemical, mechanical, electrical or environmental engineering or one of the environmental sciences (e.g. geology, hydrogeology, ecology). Applicants who identify as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community are eligible to apply. Two written recommendations, with at least one from a university official, are required.
