Are you a college upperclassman or graduate student who is part of the LGBTQIA+ community and is pursuing a career in an engineering field or environmental science? If so, the LGBTQIA+ Scholarship may be a great opportunity for you! Each year, the scholarship awards $5,000 to support students who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or questioning, who are interested in pursuing a career in the environmental profession. Applicants must be United States citizens or permanent residents enrolled at an accredited college/university, with a declared major in civil, chemical, mechanical, electrical or environmental engineering or one of the environmental sciences (e.g. geology, hydrogeology, ecology).
