    The Scholarships360 Research Team reviews all scholarships individually and strives to exclude any scholarship where any of the below applies:

    Scholarship Overview

    Are you a college junior or senior of color who has secured an on-site journalism internship in Washington, D.C., to take place in the upcoming semester? If so, the Lewis Scholarship may be a great opportunity for you! Each spring, summer, and fall, the scholarship awards approximately $10,000 each in housing and stipend costs to multiple college upperclassmen of color who demonstrate a commitment to a journalism career in the nation’s capital. Recipients will receive housing through the Washington Intern Student Housing program. To apply, interested students must submit a 500-word essay, transcript, resume, three published journalistic samples, three letters of recommendation, a brief statement of financial need, and a letter or email of acceptance showing that they have secured an on-site journalism internship in Washington, D.C.
