Are you a college-bound high school senior residing in Webster County, Nebraska, who plans to enroll in a two- or four-year post-secondary program to pursue an agriculture-related degree? Further, are you actively involved in your local house of worship and community? If so, the Leslie & Helen R. Wilson Memorial Scholarship may be a great opportunity for you! Each year, the scholarship awards $500 to one applicant who is set to graduate in the top one-third of their high school graduating class and is actively involved in their local house of worship (e.g. church, mosque, synagogue, temple, etc.) and community. The Willa Cather Foundation—formerly the Willa Cather Pioneer Memorial—is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing the work of Pulitzer Prize-winning author Willa Cather and preserving the historical settings and archival material associated with her life and writings. Since its founding in 1955, the Foundation has been headquartered in Cather's hometown of rural Red Cloud, Nebraska.
