The Law Enforcement Officer Memorial Scholarship (LEOM) is open to the dependent children of New Jersey law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate degree program at an approved, public, New Jersey college, university or degree-granting proprietary school. The LEOM scholarship covers up to the cost of attendance, excluding the amount already covered by other scholarships, grants, benefits and other assistance awarded by HESAA. The scholarship may be renewed for up to four years. If you’re the dependent child of a New Jersey law enforcement officer who has been killed in the line of duty, apply for a chance to earn funding toward your postsecondary education.
HESAA, the Higher Education Student Assistance Authority, is the only New Jersey state agency with the sole mission of providing students and families with financial and informational resources for students to pursue their education beyond high school.
