The Scholarships360 Research Team reviews all scholarships individually and strives to exclude any scholarship where any of the below applies:

  • The scholarship requires a fee to apply
  • The scholarship provider’s privacy policy allows for the misuse of student data
  • The scholarship requires paid membership in an organization (with certain exceptions for reputable trade organizations and others)
  • Student are required to sign up for a site or service to apply*
  • The scholarship seems primarily used for lead generation** or idea harvesting purposes***
  • The scholarship website has many grammatical errors and/or advertisements
  • The scholarship or scholarship providing organization seem untrustworthy
  • There is no evidence the scholarship was previously awarded
  • The scholarship has not been awarded in the past 12 months
  • There is no available contact information

Scholarship Overview

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Civil Engineering Scholarship Program is offering 10-20 scholarships to new students attending or planning to attend public universities in Kentucky. If you’re looking to obtain a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering, this scholarship is for you! Applicants can have attended pre-engineering courses at Kentucky State University or other Kentucky state colleges before, but must finish their degree at the University of Kentucky, Western Kentucky University, or University of Louisville J. B. Speed School of Engineering. To qualify, you must be a graduate of an accredited Kentucky high school or a resident of Kentucky. Successful applicants will have qualifications higher than the minimum required for acceptance into the Department of Engineering at their chosen university.
