Are you a Wyoming resident and high school graduate or GED recipient who will be enrolling in a two- or four-year program to obtain a nursing degree? If so, you may be eligible for the Kenneth and Carrie Carns Nursing Scholarship! Each year, the scholarship awards $3,000 and $5,000 each to Wyoming residents pursuing an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing, respectively. To apply, interested students must submit a 2,000-3,000 character (~400 words) essay about (1) any barriers they may have experienced in pursuing a nursing career, (2) why they are pursuing a career in nursing, and (3) if there is a specialized field of nursing they are interested in.
