    About GK Legacy Foundation

The GK Legacy Foundation and the Keep Your Chin Up Scholarship program were created in honor of George Keown, the patriarch of the Keown family who "was the epitome of perseverance and determination." Through the Keep Your Chin Up Scholarship, the GK Legacy Foundation offers tuition assistance for Arizona residents aged 25 and older. They chose the 25+ demographic because they believe they are the very essence of what George Keown stood for, "perseverance and determination." Adults going back to school juggle jobs, families, and financial stress, with little to no scholarship opportunities, and it has become the GK Legacy Foundation's mission to change that."
