Are you a Kansas resident enrolled full-time at one of the eighteen private colleges and universities located in Kansas, the six state universities, or Washburn University? If so, consider applying for the Kansas Comprehensive Grant! Each year, the Grant awards between $200 and $10,000 each or between $100 and $4,000 each, respectively, to one to three students attending private or public post-secondary institutions in Kansas. To be considered, interested students must complete and submit the FAFSA. The nine-member Kansas Board of Regents is the governing board of the state’s six universities and the statewide coordinating board for the state’s 32 public higher education institutions (six state universities, one municipal university, nineteen community colleges, and six technical colleges). In addition, the Board administers the state’s student financial aid, adult education, high school equivalency, and career and technical education programs. Private proprietary schools and out-of-state institutions are authorized by the Kansas Board of Regents to operate in Kansas.
