Are you a college-bound high school senior residing in the Fair Park area of Dallas, Texas? Further, are you attending Franklin D. Roosevelt High School, Irma Lerma Rangel Young Women’s Leadership School, James Madison, Lincoln, North Dallas, or Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas? If so, consider applying for the Juanita Craft Scholarship! Each year, the scholarship awards $6,000 to several of the top, college-bound applicants from these schools. The scholarship was established in honor of Juanita Craft, an American civil rights activist, politician, and icon who fought for the rights of all minorities and resided in South Dallas. If you attend one of the eligible high schools and would like to carry on Juanita’s legacy, we encourage you to apply! Keep on reading to learn more.
