The Joseph Shinoda Memorial Scholarship is an award given to exceptional undergraduate and graduate (only first-years) students who specialize in floriculture. The Foundation aims to inspire talented students to pursue a career in commercial floriculture in the United States after graduation. Upper-division applicants are preferred, as specialization may occur later in four-year schools. Winners will be selected based on grades, financial need, work status, character, and intent, and may earn between $500 and $7,000.
