Are you a high school senior who has participated in an NJTL (National Junior Tennis & Learning) Program & will be enrolling in a four-year college or university? If so, consider applying for the Jonathan G. Epstein Spirit of Tennis Scholarship! Each year, the scholarship awards $3,750 to one applicant who demonstrates good character, community leadership and sportsmanship, and has participated in an NJTL program. It may be received for up to four years for a total of $15,000 over the course of a four-year undergraduate program. The award money will support the recipient’s educational endeavors by covering tuition, room and board, as well as essential educational materials.
This scholarship was established in honor of Jonathan G. The USTA Foundation is a 501 c(3) charitable organization incorporated in 1994 as the philanthropic entity of the United States Tennis Association (USTA). USTA Foundation uses the sport of tennis as a vehicle to help under-resourced youth become more engaged in school and learning with the goal of succeeding in tennis and in life.
