Are you a high school upperclassman or college sophomore, junior, or senior who works to raise mental health awareness by leading initiatives, encouraging peers to reach out for help, and building support systems for youth mental health and suicide prevention? If so, JED’s Student Voice of Mental Health Award may be a great opportunity for you! Each year, the scholarship awards $3,000 to two applicants: one (1) high school and one (1) college student who are working to raise awareness of and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues. To apply for the scholarship, interested students must submit a 2-3-minute video essay answering the question “What initiatives are you implementing in your school and how do you see that connecting to the future of youth mental health?”
