If you are a graduate student who is interested in national security issues, the Jasin Graduate Scholarship could be a great fit for you! To be eligible for this scholarship, students should be pursuing a degree in a field related to national security (including international relations, security policy, or intelligence studies). The only other caveat to this scholarship program is that it aims to support students who are currently (or intend to) work in the U.S. Government. Applicants for this scholarship will be evaluated on merit, character, academic commitment, relevance of studies to national security interests, and career ambitions.
The scholarship application makes a special point to note that students who study in schools of engineering, science, technology, and/or have foreign language mastery in Arabic, Dari, Farsi, Pashto, Russian, Chinese, Korean, Persian, Hausa, and other sub-Saharan African languages, Hebrew, Punjabi, Somali, Swahili, Turkish, and Urdu are encouraged to apply.
This scholarship is funded by The Association of Former Intelligence Officers (AFIO), which is a non-profit, non-political, educational association for current and former intelligence professionals and supporters of the US intelligence community.

Application information
Students will need to submit a cover letter explaining why they need the scholarship, their career goals, their views of the U.S. world standing, and the role the U.S. intelligence community should play in the world. In addition to the required materials below, students will also need to submit a photograph.
