Are you a doctoral student or Ph.D. recipient from a North American university looking to conduct doctoral or post-doctoral musicological research in Europe? If so, the Jan LaRue Travel Fund may be a great opportunity for you! Each year, the fund awards between $500 and $5,000 to one or more such doctoral students or Ph.D. recipients wanting to conduct doctoral or post-doctoral musicological research in Europe. If applicants are seeking to conduct research for their dissertation, they must have completed all other requirements for the Ph.D. If they wish to conduct post-doctoral research, they should have completed their Ph.D. within the past five years. Preference will be given to applicants whose home institutions do not offer financial support for musicological research.
