The James K. Goldston Cybersecurity Scholarship was established in 2006 by the family of James K. Goldston to provide assistance to students from Tennessee to pursue in-state undergraduate programs of study in computer engineering, computer science, cyber science, or information security. Special consideration will be given to non-traditional students, while preference will be given to applicants who are the first in their family to attend college and to those enrolled in an NSA National Center for Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity program at Jackson State Community College, Lemoyne-Owen College, Roane State Community College, Tennessee Technological University, the University of Memphis, or the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
