Scholarship Overview

Are you a musician between the ages 8 and 18? If so, consider applying for the Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award! The scholarship is open to pre-collegiate music students who need financial help to offset the costs of studying classical music at a high level in the United States. Applicants must be classical instrumentalists, vocalists, or composers with strong musical ability and a willingness to participate in the Learning and Media Lab Fellowship.

Twenty lucky students are chosen each year to earn up to $10,000 to cover instrument purchases, summer camp tuition, college audition travel expenses, private lessons, and other music-related needs.
