Are you passionate about clean drinking water and safe sanitation? If so, you should consider applying for the IWSH Essay Scholarship Contest! This scholarship is worth up to $2,000 and is open to high school seniors and students enrolled or accepted in an accredited technical school, community college, trade school, apprentice program, or four-year accredited college or university. International students are also eligible. To apply, students must submit an 800 – 1,600 word essay in response to the following prompt: “Why do you believe access to water and sanitation is a human right?” The purpose of this scholarship is to acquaint the uninitiated with the crucial importance the plumbing industry plays in our everyday lives and to introduce students to the global impact of IWSH projects. If you’re a high school senior or college student with a passion for clean water and sanitation, we encourage you to apply!
The IWSH Foundation exists to help develop and enhance the role of the plumbing industry in community collaborations and educational exchanges, all over the world.
