The Scholarships360 Research Team reviews all scholarships individually and strives to exclude any scholarship where any of the below applies:

  • The scholarship requires a fee to apply
  • The scholarship provider’s privacy policy allows for the misuse of student data
  • The scholarship requires paid membership in an organization (with certain exceptions for reputable trade organizations and others)
  • Student are required to sign up for a site or service to apply*
  • The scholarship seems primarily used for lead generation** or idea harvesting purposes***
  • The scholarship website has many grammatical errors and/or advertisements
  • The scholarship or scholarship providing organization seem untrustworthy
  • There is no evidence the scholarship was previously awarded
  • The scholarship has not been awarded in the past 12 months
  • There is no available contact information

Scholarship Overview

Have you been accepted into an accredited nursing or health professions program in Idaho and demonstrate financial need? If so, you may be eligible for the Idaho Nursing and Health Professionals Scholarship Fund! Each year, the scholarship awards between $3,000 to one eligible student at an Idaho university who has a passion for pursuing nursing or another eligible health profession. To be considered, interested students must submit a transcript, one letter of reference, a copy of their FAFSA report, as well as a 1-3 page written statement describing their career goals, as well as their past extra-curricular activities and work experiences. The Idaho Community Foundation is a community foundation that works to provide a way for people of all income levels to make a lasting difference in Idaho. The Foundation serves all 44 Idaho counties and helps build and strengthen communities by bringing people together and using the power of collective giving. Individuals, families, businesses, and other nonprofits can establish permanent or temporary charitable funds at the Idaho Community Foundation to provide support for the causes and organizations they care about most. The Idaho Community Foundation also offers grants to nonprofits, schools, and other organizations and provides scholarships to students.
