The Scholarships360 Research Team reviews all scholarships individually and strives to exclude any scholarship where any of the below applies:

  • The scholarship requires a fee to apply
  • The scholarship provider’s privacy policy allows for the misuse of student data
  • The scholarship requires paid membership in an organization (with certain exceptions for reputable trade organizations and others)
  • Student are required to sign up for a site or service to apply*
  • The scholarship seems primarily used for lead generation** or idea harvesting purposes***
  • The scholarship website has many grammatical errors and/or advertisements
  • The scholarship or scholarship providing organization seem untrustworthy
  • There is no evidence the scholarship was previously awarded
  • The scholarship has not been awarded in the past 12 months
  • There is no available contact information

Scholarship Overview

Are you a woman or non-binary college student looking to pursue a career in a creative field? If so, consider applying for the Helen Lansdowne Resor Scholarship! The scholarship is open to female and non-binary postsecondary students interested in a career in any creative field who are willing to intern for Wunderman Thompson. Wunderman Thompson is the New York-based global marketing communications agency that looks to inspire growth in brands and offers this scholarship. Their mission is to amplify historically marginalized voices in the creative industry and support students in their educational pursuits to help them join the advertising industry’s creative ranks. Their Helen Lansdowne Resor Scholarship honors their first-ever female copywriter, an “unparalleled creative force.”

To honor her legacy, every year, four recipients are awarded $10,000 each, a paid internship at a Wunderman Thompson office in their respective region, a mentor from Wunderman Thompson, and possible full-time placement upon graduation. If you are passionate about a career in the creative industry and are looking for an internship opportunity, we encourage you to apply!
