Offered by Hawaii Education Association
Are you a current, full-time post-secondary student pursuing a career in education? Further, are you an HEA (Hawaii Education Association) member, or the child or grandchild of a member? If so, the Hawaii Education Association’s Graduating Continuing College Student Scholarship may be a great opportunity for you! Each year, they award $1,000 to two (2) current post-secondary students who (a) will continue their enrollment in any two- or four-year accredited institution of higher learning in the upcoming academic year and (b) are HEA members or the children/grandchildren of members. Members must be in good standing and have been members for at least one year. While preference will be given to those in preK-12 teaching, it is not a requirement to apply.
If you’re a current, full-time undergraduate or graduate student with an affiliation to HEA through your own or your parent/grandparent’s membership, we encourage you to apply! Keep on reading to learn more.
