The Hawaii Education Association Continuing College Student Scholarship will be awarded to students pursuing a career in education (preference will be given to those in pre-K-12 teaching) in any two- or four-year state or nationally accredited institution of higher learning in the upcoming academic year. This scholarship is open only to HEA members, their children and/or their grandchildren. Members must be in good standing and shall have been members for at least one year. Applications may be submitted online, or through email or mail.
The Hawaii Education Association has been dedicated to affirming the professionalism of Hawaii's teachers and supporting excellence in education since its founding in 1921. Throughout HEA's history, loyal and committed members have supported the organization through generous annual donations to support scholarships for pre-service education and active teachers.
