Are you a college-bound, South Carolina resident and high school senior planning to major in a natural resources-related discipline at an in-state university? If so, we encourage you to apply for the Harry Hampton Memorial Wildlife Fund Scholarship! Each year, the scholarship awards $5,000 per year (can be renewed for up to four years) to South Carolina residents majoring in disciplines such as wildlife biology, fisheries biology, forestry, marine science or environmental science at South Carolina universities. Applicants must also have a maintain at least a 2.5 GPA in order to qualify for and maintain the scholarship. The Harry Hampton Memorial Wildlife Fund, Inc. is a private, non-profit corporation which partners with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources for the promotion of education, research, management and the administration of game and fish laws, which will benefit conservation of wildlife, marine and other natural resources in South Carolina.
