Are you a resident of Oregon or Washington state with a connection to Nordic (Danish, Finnish, Icelandic, Norwegian, Swedish) heritage, culture and/or activities? If so, we encourage you to apply for the Grieg Lodge Educational Scholarship! Each year the scholarship awards at least three (3) $2,000 scholarships to students with a home address in Multnomah, Clackamas, Columbia, Washington, or Yamhill Counties in Oregon, or Clark County in Washington. Applicants may be of any age, but preference will be given to those with a connection to Nordic culture or heritage. If this sounds like a good opportunity for you, we encourage you to apply! The Grieg Lodge Scholarship Fund, founded in 1976, was established to (1) develop the pursuit of the intellect and education in all areas of life by providing scholarship grants, (2) encourage studies of the cultures of Norway and the United States by providing the opportunity for student exchange, and (3) provide an incentive for the advancement of literary, musical, artistic and historical creativity.
