Are you a Charlotte, NC-area high school senior, college freshman, or college sophomore planning to pursue a non-performing career in theater? If so, you might consider applying for the Gordon Hay Scholarship! This scholarship is open to students who exemplify a strong pursuit of personal excellence, exhibit commitment to community engagement, demonstrate artistic or technical accomplishment, and have a record of scholarly achievement. Eligible non-performance areas of theater include (but are not limited to): play writing; set, costume, lighting, or sound design; arts administration; stage management; production management; technical direction. While the scholarship is merit-based scholarship, preference may be shown to a student with financial need.
