  • The scholarship website has many grammatical errors and/or advertisements
  • The scholarship or scholarship providing organization seem untrustworthy

Scholarship Overview

Are you a native-born citizen and resident of a country in the “Western and American Hemisphere” and have resided in the Western Hemisphere for at least five years? Further, do you wish to pursue higher education in the state of Texas and intend to return to your home country to live after completing a program of study in Texas? If so, the Good Neighbor Scholarship Program may be a great opportunity for you! Each year, the program awards scholarships to Western and American Hemisphere (non-American or Cuban citizens/residents) wanting to pursue higher education in Texas. Bear in mind that individuals who apply for Permanent Resident status or who have dual citizenship are not eligible.
