Are you a graduate student interested in a career in state or local government finance? If so, consider applying for the Goldberg-Miller Public Finance Scholarship! The scholarship is open to full-time graduate students preparing for a career in state or local government finance. The scholarship is offered by the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA), a Chicago-based organization dedicated to “advancing excellence in public finance.” Since 1906, they have represented multitudes of finance officials throughout the U.S. and Canada. To support the finance officials of the future, this scholarship of theirs awards $20,000 to one graduate-level student with dreams of a career in public finance. If you are passionate about state or local government finance, we encourage you to apply!
The scholarship is open to full-time graduate students who plan to pursue a career in state/provincial or local government finance. Applicants must also meet the below eligibility requirements.
