Are you a high school senior or graduate who has earned the Girl Scout Gold Award sometime within the last year? If so, you may be eligible for the Gold Award Scholarship! The Gold Award Scholarship awards $10,000 to eligible applicants who submit essays that best summarize their Gold Award projects and how they benefitted their local or global community.
About Girl Scouts
The Girl Scouts are a youth organization for girls in the United States and American girls living abroad. It was founded by Juliette Gordon Low in 1912, in Savannah, Georgia. Today, girls at home and abroad participate in troops and groups in more than 92 countries through USA Girl Scouts Overseas. The mission of the Girl Scouts is to help girls grow courageous and strong through a wide variety of enriching experiences, such as field trips, skill-building sports clinics, community service projects, cultural exchanges, and environmental stewardships.
