Scholarship Overview

Are you a Georgia resident who completed a Home Study program? If so, consider applying for the GHEA HOPE Scholarship! The GHEA HOPE Scholarship is open to Georgia residents who are either incoming college freshmen or college sophomores who have completed an eligible Home Study program in accordance with the requirements of Georgia’s home study statute (O.C.G.A § 20-2-690(c)).

The scholarship is funded by the Georgia Home Education Association (GHEA), a member-supported, non-profit association that serves homeschoolers in Georgia and is committed to the advancement of home education and the protection of every family’s right to home education. This scholarship has a rolling deadline and continuously provides tuition assistance to eligible students enrolled at any college or university in Georgia. The HOPE grant recipient must also maintain a minimum 2.0 cumulative postsecondary GPA to remain eligible. In order to be eligible for this scholarship, you must be a Georgia resident who completes an eligible Home Study program in accordance with the requirements of Georgia’s home study statute (O.C.G.A § 20-2-690(c)) and be either a college sophomore or incoming freshman.
